A unique cross culture exchange between Australian Aboriginal artists and traditional artisans in Kashmir. It is not in the nature of Aboriginal people to replicate art, instead their traditions come from story telling. The art on each ornament is owned and designed by the aboriginal artist. The design is then crafted into beautiful ornaments by the Kashmir artisans. This provides opportunity for Aboriginal artists to engage in mainstream economy. Together, the partnership benefits both artisan and indigenous artist communities.
